Dear Jason & Carol,

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your amazing, generous donation to our cause, and to provide you an update. We recently moved into the new house, and are getting settled in well. We now have plenty of necessary space to take in the older two siblings of our youngest two adopted children, Sondra and Isaiah “Lovie”. We have new beds all set up for them and are very anxiously waiting for them to become clear to foster-toadopt. At this point we’re just waiting on the state agency, courts, and our home study to be completed to become clear to do so. If all goes well this is expected to be complete by the end of March.

One of the most difficult aspects of being a resource parent in the foster/adoptive system is the uncertainty of it all, until the final decision. However, knowing that we’ve been able to provide a warm, beautiful space for these kids in our home in advance of their coming arrival provides us with great peace of mind. We literally could not have done this without your love and generosity, and will be forever grateful.
